Boat Detailing in Midway, Utah

Deer Creek is right there, and a lot of Midway boats sit at a second home or in storage between weekends. That combination — heavy summer use, long quiet stretches — is harder on gelcoat than most owners realize. We come to you.

The Midway Pattern

Used Hard in Summer, Parked the Rest of the Year

A lot of the boats we service in Midway belong to people who are here for the season or on weekends. The boat gets used intensely for a few months, then sits — sometimes covered, sometimes under a carport, sometimes just beside the house.

That's the pattern that quietly ruins a finish. Hard water and algae get left on the hull because nobody's around midweek to rinse it, then the whole thing sits through a Wasatch winter with the damage locked in. Owners come back in May and the shine is gone, and it isn't obvious why.

Deer Creek Reservoir

Practically the town lake. Warm, shallow, and prone to late-summer algae that leaves a stubborn band along the waterline.

Jordanelle Reservoir

Twenty minutes over. Deeper and cooler, heavy wake-boat traffic, and mineral-rich water on every launch.

Storage & Second Homes

We'll come wherever the boat actually lives. You don't need to be there — just tell us where it is and how to get to it.

Questions

Midway Boat Detailing FAQ

Do I need to be there when you come?

No. Plenty of our Midway work happens while the owner is somewhere else entirely. Tell us where the boat is and how to access it, and we'll send photos when we're done.

My boat's been sitting for a couple of seasons. Is it too late?

Almost never. Oxidation and chalking come out with correction work — machine polishing, sometimes wet sanding. It's more involved than a detail and we quote it after seeing the boat, but a hull that looks past saving usually isn't.

Should I detail before winter or wait until spring?

Before winter, if you only do one. Whatever's on the hull in October sits there until May, and that's when the real damage happens. A spring detail cleans up a boat that's already been hurt; a fall detail prevents it.

Do you charge extra to come to Midway?

No. Standard per-foot pricing, no trip charge.
