Heber sits at about 5,600 feet with Jordanelle a few minutes north and Deer Creek a few minutes south. Being that close to the water is the whole appeal — and it's also why Heber boats log more days per season than most in the state.
More days means more hard-water cycles. Every launch and retrieve puts mineral-heavy water on the hull, and up here it dries fast in thin, dry air before anyone gets a chance to rinse it. That's the single biggest thing we correct on boats out of this valley.

Usually, yes. Late-summer blooms leave a band along the waterline that regular soap won't touch — it needs proper decontamination. If it's been sitting long enough to stain into the gelcoat, that becomes correction work and we'll quote it after seeing the boat.
Two windows matter. Spring, before the season puts a summer of UV into your gelcoat. And fall, before the boat goes under a cover for six months — anything left on the hull sits there until May, and oxidation doesn't take the winter off.
